There is also (or was maybe) a house at number 8, Sword St, in the East end (Gerrard and River)that, if my memory is right stood on a lot that was about 9' wide.
It might still be there and a good good contestant for the thinnest house.
I think there may be a thinner one on the side street directly behind Malubar Costume shop (between John St. and McCaul) off of the ally behind Everest. It faces that tiny little park next to the Pink Umbra condo thing.
It might not technically be a 'house', but more of an apartment built between two houses. Has it's own mail box and street number from what I can tell though. I stand 6'1" and when I spread my arms as wide as possible I can almost touch both walls.
How does this place compare with 128 Day Street, which is 7.25 feet wide? (www.thelittlehouse.ca)
Posted by Gerry at July 4, 2008 09:59 AMThere maybe competition form the one on 128 Day Ave.

Posted by Paolo at July 4, 2008 10:55 AMHey, that was me who sent you the tip back when, Sam! You're welcome. I still visit your site every day for the excellent photos. Never saw anyone go in or out when I lived around there but I always wondered what it looked like
inside.
ps. the house is on Shuter at Sackville, Paolo. That's a couple blocks east of Parliament.
Posted by hunter at July 4, 2008 09:34 PMOh this reminds me of the Order of Phoenix house.
Posted by sally at July 4, 2008 11:33 PMThe property at the corner or Shuter and Seaton is only as wide as the front door (about 3ft.). Although it does fan and widen as you go back into it.
