Posted by greixion at June 25, 2008 12:51 AMGood shot. But they showed the movie 4:3? Sheesh.
Posted by Scott Murdoch at June 25, 2008 08:51 AMI might be missing something here... but how do you relate that with 1984?
Posted by Jozef at June 25, 2008 11:58 AMA couple of men looking away from the center screen are very impressive. Cool shot!
Posted by NK at June 25, 2008 07:52 PMI love the shadows from the people standing there. It makes it look so dramatic :)
Posted by Amy at June 25, 2008 08:05 PMGreat shot. Almost seems like that guy on the board should be looking out over an ocean, or a beach, or... Gone With the Wind?
Posted by Alanj at June 26, 2008 08:45 AMcould you possibly give heads-ups on what events you plan on shooting in the future? i never seen to find out until i see your picturs!
Posted by Ana at June 26, 2008 11:14 PMBeautiful light, it really "makes" the shot!
Posted by Alexandre at June 27, 2008 05:35 PMI have just discovered your work tonight, and I

Posted by Anne Wilson at June 27, 2008 09:27 PMnice photo. very asthetically pleasing.
shinny bright.
Anyways, I am not well aquainted with 1984. But perhaps the similarity is in the profusion of television screens and how big brother is keeping the masses entertained and docile, with pre-selected media offered up in the streets and at home. (I kind of sense of similarity after considering it for a little while, though I didnt see it at first.) Once the screens and cameras are in place... its a small step to 1984.
Posted by scott at June 27, 2008 09:48 PMlooks like Russell Peters on the left side in the white shirt!
Posted by JasOn at June 30, 2008 09:00 AMactually, it reminds me much more of the 1984 macintosh computer ad by apple.
and a quick note to Scott: that movie was *shot* in 4:3 ...
