It really doesn't matter what the subject is, your photos seem to always capture something most others would miss. And always so sharp.

Hey Sam, isn't Bathurst always west of Spadina? I don't think they meet, unless you've found some place I don't know about :)

Posted by Blair at May 28, 2008 07:52 AM

Bathurst, east of Spadina.
Now that's a good trick.

Posted by Jeremy Sale at May 28, 2008 08:06 AM

I think you mean Bloor, west of spadina since that looks like Futures Cafe by brunswick.

Posted by stuart at May 28, 2008 08:25 AM

Nice one. It's Bloor, West of Spadina... just outside Future's bakery.

Posted by Kimberly Way at May 28, 2008 09:20 AM

I think the caption is supposed to read Bloor, east of Spadina. Or Bloor and Brunswick, more specifically. Great picture though.

Posted by eh at May 28, 2008 09:43 AM

How can this be on Bathurst, east of Spadina, when Bathurst is paralell, and WEST of Spadina?

Posted by kate at May 28, 2008 09:47 AM

Bathurst is west of Spadina ;) Great colours in the photo ... is that Future Bakery in the background?

Posted by Kelly at May 28, 2008 09:49 AM

"Bathurst, east of Spadina"? But Bathurst and Spadina are parallel -- and Bathurst is west of Spadina! Where was this really?

Posted by Christine at May 28, 2008 09:55 AM

Love your site. I think this the Future Bakery at the corner of Bloor and Brunswick, east of Bathurst, right? Taken from across the street in front of the By the Way Cafe.

Posted by Jackie at May 28, 2008 11:09 AM

Don't you mean Bloor east of Bathurst (alternately, west of Spadina)?

Posted by jock at May 28, 2008 11:40 AM

isn't that bloor, west of spadina?

Posted by Andrew at May 28, 2008 11:51 AM

Looks more like Bloor west of Spadina to me...

Posted by Sean at May 28, 2008 12:16 PM

that's a good one !

Posted by FAHIM at May 28, 2008 12:50 PM

I think this is futures bakery, on Bloor east of spadina.

Posted by kim at May 28, 2008 12:52 PM

Looks more like Bloor, West of Spadina, East of Bathurst... esepcially since Bathurst is traditionally west of Spadina.

Or is that not Futures Bakery?

Posted by Astin at May 28, 2008 03:00 PM

Depth of field is great in this one, it really draws your eye towards the bike, the brighter foreground has the same effect. Finally, I love the saturation...great job as always.

Posted by Brett at May 28, 2008 03:54 PM

Bathurst east of Spadina? How did it get there?

Posted by Geographica at May 28, 2008 04:21 PM

Isn't this Bloor west of Spadina? (not Bathurst east of Spadina) That looks like Future Bakery in the background.

Posted by Blair at May 28, 2008 04:52 PM

"Bathurst, east of Spadina."? That's future bakery at Brunswick/Bloor. While your photos are amazing and keep me coming back every day, I think you might be losing a step when it comes to intersection identification.

This is actually Bloor, west of Spadina, not Bathurst.

Posted by Bryan at May 28, 2008 05:45 PM

Nice job again !

Posted by Farhood at May 28, 2008 05:57 PM

this is actually BLOOR west of Spadina.

Thou it be a bike; it is a very fine portrait.
A very fine portrait indeed.

Posted by lyn at May 28, 2008 06:48 PM

Posted by geoffrey at May 28, 2008 06:57 PM

Posted by davin at May 28, 2008 10:19 PM

if you were to turn around 180 degrees, you would see the patio where I proposed to my wife! ...at what is probably one of the best restaurants in Toronto.

nice shot.
