it's kind of ridiculous how you can make even the most every day things seem really epic...

A superb match for the new platform-level design of Museum station, is it not?

I envy how you have the will to carry your tripod with everywhere you go! Love the soft glow of the subway from underneath. Good work.

I really enjoy this. Spooky but exciting, and a nice touch with the arrow above.

Sam, this is another great multilevel shot. It's technically perfect and brilliant, with excellent control over every texture and colour and balance of movement/stasis. It's a good companion-shot to the platform view a few days ago. It's a beautiful night-drama shot, with the world whizzing by and the arrow drawing us down, down into -- what mysterious brightly-lit place? This is not just a subway station, or any old museum. Down into the depths of human history, of the collective unconscious beneath the city, perhaps. Jung had a wonderful dream in which he went deeper and deeper in an old house, with things geeting older at every level until in a cave beneath the basement he found a few fragments of old skulls and pottery, things from us all, the foundations of cultural history.

A great shot. One of your best.
