Comments: circular square

I can't help but think that the sidewalks are the barrel of a gun. Point and shoot and you got yourself a city. The gun of the gods perhaps? Nicely done.

That is Amazing!

the photo is great, but the place is somehow disturbing.. I'm more used to squares sorrounded by building than squares sorrounded by ads...

Unbelievable: Making me a bit dizzy but the high res and interactive pano are amazing.

Posted by Stephen at April 28, 2008 10:21 AM

Stunning. Wow! How did you do this?

Posted by Alex Blinder at April 28, 2008 10:25 AM

This is just plain Cool.
And you make it look much better than it does in real life!

Posted by Kimberly Way at April 28, 2008 11:38 AM

Thanks for the amazing picture, Sam.

Now, if you ever get around to putting this on a print, I'd definitely consider purchasing one :D

Have you looked at HDView as the interactive viewer for the panorama?
The scrolling is smoother and the image projections are superb for 360-degree pictures. The downside is that users need to install the plug-in.

I love these images. I try to make them myself, and they usually don't work out very well. I keep trying though.

Nice stuff.

that is unbelievably cool.

Posted by Ali Barrett at April 28, 2008 03:56 PM

All rolled up in a nice, little package. Like the sharp details and bright color in this shot.

Posted by Sean at April 28, 2008 04:32 PM

Very cool. It's like your planets but inverted. This made it to the front page of Reddit by the way.

very cool! i definitely enjoy this one much better than the opposite one you did. its like youre looking into a hole in the ground and when you climb through, everthing turns upside down. what was that one disney movie? enchanted. it reminds me of that. :)

This type of pano would make a great photograph of New York's Time Square - espically at night, very inspirational!
