Wow, this is magnificent!

I find it a bit odd that the colour of the sky doesn't change.

I think this is one of your best so far!

I first thought that this was some kind of new digital game promo. Wow.

It would be nice if same could be tried with CN tower on the background. :)

Thank you sam~!

wow! i love the video!! it looks beautiful!
you should make the video into a screen saver or something and sell it, it beats any other screensaver i've seen.

Posted by smallfat at April 15, 2008 04:57 PM

amazing.
i particularly enjoy the transition at the beginning coming out of earth hour. the city looks lovely with just glow from the streets. just wish the video was a little slower so i can soak it all in.

badass

I know that you're probably extremely busy, but it would be so wonderful if you could post some tutorials on how you consistently visualize, compose, expose and post process some of the most amazing images that I come across ( and I frequent a lot of photo sites). Your work stands head and shoulders above the many, many photographers presently sharing their images.

All the best ...

Posted by saba at April 16, 2008 02:33 AM

I absolutely love it. Wallpapered.

I always love when you have special features for the day, such as this and the video of shots taken over an X hour frame (had 2 a while back) and the mouse over flash that changes the time of day in a series of photos of the same spot.

Very nice, keep up the good work.

Great shots on their own, but Awesome concept put all together like this. Would be fantastic in one of those digital photo frames :)

This is really neat. I like the lighting; was this time-lapse photography? It looks like an electric, moving postcard.

Posted by Ashley at May 1, 2008 04:00 PM

this is brilliant.

Posted by lis at May 3, 2008 11:13 AM

Sam, I've always loved this time lapse. I use After Effects all the time and can't figure out how you got the plane trails to stay up there. Any clues?
