At 12mm!! Wow that is quite a view in that massive wide angle. Nice line straightening too. Wish I could read more of the note from the pavement artist but thats a minor critique.

Was this artist's name "Sing"?
Could you post the Flickr link?
Posted by Duncan Sample at March 28, 2008 03:32 AMGreat! How do you find that sigma in 5d? Are borders soft in 12mm? Also in 24mm? Is it better (iq) than 17-40L?
Posted by sari at March 28, 2008 04:02 AMEven without the spiderman, there's a ton of interest in the background alone. Great multi-layered shot...
Posted by onewayphotoblog / Mark at March 28, 2008 05:29 AMAfter all that depressing snow and ice, it is great to see an image that doesn't make you want to put a coat on! :-)
BTW - is this a single image under and over exposed to get that great sky detail or two different exposures blended?

Posted by nick at March 28, 2008 05:34 AMIncredibly surreal!
Posted by Sean Galbraith at March 28, 2008 07:41 AMWow, a real 12mm is insanely wide!! I'm curious what you found of it.
Posted by vg at March 28, 2008 08:36 AMNice picture. Is that image of spiderman a painting on the pavement? Or some other form of design?
Posted by Kedar at March 28, 2008 08:36 AMInteresting processing... very nice DOF in this one!
Posted by Jay at March 28, 2008 08:59 AMDid you manage to get a full shot of the writing beneath the artwork? If so, would it be possible to see that on a separate link?
Posted by Paramdeep at March 28, 2008 09:04 AMthat is so cool!!
Posted by Jess at March 28, 2008 09:57 AMAwesome! Go Spidy!
Do you have any pictures where the words are visible?
Stunning shot!
And I see wide Sigmas gives nice sky colors.
A slice of life from Toronto? Superman, skyscape, and a pile of dirty snow?
I like the capture.
Chalkmaster! Nice to see him again.
