So vivid.

Thanks for all the lovely, inspiring photos of the last year and looking forward to great shots in the new year. Wishing you all the best...Saaleh no mobarak :o)
Terrific follow-up to The Windmill! And a happy Norouz to you.
Here on the Slovene Riviera the almond and plum trees have finished blooming and we now have apple trees in white with the apricot and peach trees not far behind. Cherries will be last. You'd think it would be warm but it ain't. The woodburning stove is alight every night.
Dear Sam,
Happy Norouz to you too, and thanks for another (Persian) year of fine photographs, every single day.
Posted by Vahid at March 20, 2008 06:05 AMGreat subjects... a welcome departure from the everyday scenes... very refreshing to see!
Posted by Mark at March 20, 2008 08:10 AMHappy new year Sam, I wish you and your family the best.
Cheers,
Niusha
dont get me wrong, I love architecture, especially your images over the last few weeks, but the coldness in some of the winter shots has made todays post very refreshing.
I know it's not your specialty, but I'd love to see you shoot food and drink. Call up the local dining spots, team up with a food critic and be the photographer and get a free lunch break!
Just an idea.
I love the deep green tones in the second shot.
Posted by Peerum at March 20, 2008 09:52 AMLovely colors, a refreshing contrast to a dismal Chicago morning.
