Posted by Mark Baluk at February 11, 2008 02:06 AMAnother great night shot... working downtown all day, it's sometimes nice to see these streets quiet and empty.
Posted by Jay at February 11, 2008 08:59 AMthis is an amazing capture. do you know what time you took this pic?
Posted by MT at February 11, 2008 09:08 AMooh, very eerie!
Posted by mel at February 11, 2008 09:08 AMsam, i'm really loving the mood in the photographs you've posted over the past week, they're really something different!
Posted by payam at February 11, 2008 11:10 AMNice image. Puts a shiver up my backbone. I noticed you are posting smaller versions to Flickr. I have been doing the same thing but am now concerned about their policy of claiming all rights to the images. My assumption is that they can claim rights to the small, lower resolution versions, but not the originals. What do you think?
Posted by Dave Blizzard at February 11, 2008 12:35 PMFeels so alive.
I'm enjoying your latest shots, Sam.
heyy... this is straight out of a movie. a sad and violent movie.
with the shots you take, have you ever considered filming? i mean, do you do stuff like that too or just photography? my friend is taking IB film and he was raving about this picture.
cheers!
alternate title idea: white trash.
Posted by Stephen Smith at February 11, 2008 10:23 PMI love it. Very Gotham City style. I love how the snow is blowing through the air, giving the photo an almost brush stroke look.
Posted by Raffi at February 11, 2008 10:40 PMThere's me thinking "this looks surprisingly noisy for one of Sam's photographs, must have used 800 ISO" then I hover my mouse over the picture and bang, you used 800 ISO - now I feel really geeky, thanks for sharing, I like the photo a lot.
Posted by Ed O'Keeffe at February 12, 2008 04:17 AMAfter the snow, all things will be pure and fresh. Goo hings erase bad thins. nice picture.
