Comments: tower through trees

I am reading a book called "consolation" by michael Redhill which is set in Toronto, about a photographer in 1860 and and a modern family in the 1990. It is about arrested time (photography) and spacial time.
Your photos of Toronto remind me very much of this vision: the city that is, the city that was and the city that will be.
In the same spirit as Atget, the french Paris photographer, I think your photos will keep this Toronto alive for now and a long time to come.
Thank you.
Henri

I like to focal point of this image, the skyline of Toronoto and the CN Tower look great but I feel there is very little need to have this in a portrait aspect ratio. To publish on the internet, surely it is better to stick to landscape aspect images, due to 99% of internet uses monitors being 4x3 or wider? Maybe you could explain the reason behind this, but for me, I always photograph everything in landscape that goes on my website - makes the photos more viewable on this medium.

Gorgeous pic! Definitely not your usual post-card take on the city's waterfront. I love your work, it is always consistent yet diverse. Thank you for capturing the beauty of our city.
