Posted by Elisa at November 7, 2007 03:55 AMMagnificent!! Enraptivating in its grandeur.
Right down to the small detail of the redlights matching the hue of the sunset.
oh my god... this is a magnificent picture, sam. congratulations
Posted by Simon at November 7, 2007 05:23 AMIs this shot in the early morning? A lot of your cityscapes seem so empty of people somehow...
Posted by Graham at November 7, 2007 06:47 AMWawww great photo, beautiful sky and colors. Composition is very good.
Posted by LBaphoto at November 7, 2007 06:50 AMthis was a nice start to my day.
Posted by jared at November 7, 2007 07:44 AMSo nice picture... beautiful.
Did I see you at around here? Did you talk to an Asian woman? If not, I'm sorry.
Holy cow, what a cool shot! First I liked the colours and tones, and perspective, then I really liked how you captured the guy in blue at mid-step crossing the street. Very interesting.

Somedays I come here and want to quit photography...other days I am inspired. Not sure which of those today is, but the photo is amazing, frickin' amazing.
Can I have the talent you have in just your pinky finger? I think that'd suffice to help me move along in photography!
Posted by Sye at November 7, 2007 08:46 AMIt's Abbey Road! (in Toronto) :)
Posted by Jenn at November 7, 2007 08:55 AMSam I love the colors, especially the difference between the bottom of the clouds and the left building. Makes me wish I was back in Toronto.
Posted by Daniel Smyth at November 7, 2007 09:09 AMGreat shot! Love that pharmacology building on the right.
Posted by Jon Harris at November 7, 2007 10:02 AMgreat shot. love the midstride. i'd like this picture even more if the blacks were darker. right now it seems too flat to me, at least on the buildings and the ground.
Posted by kelvin at November 7, 2007 10:06 AMVery nice. Love the lines and angles. Great perspective shot.
Posted by Calvin at November 7, 2007 10:13 AMLove the lines and colour

Posted by Icefreez at November 7, 2007 10:17 AMYou'll never be accused of being uncreative.
You chose the perfect vantage point, and the space in front only adds to the overall impact. Nice work, Sam!

Posted by Zubin at November 7, 2007 05:40 PMI was riding the street car yesterday and I thought to myself:
I hope Sam gets this beautiful city sky as the clouds were racing and the sun was setting.
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Star
Posted by Star Spider at November 7, 2007 07:01 PMThat's a cool shot. The clouds are amazing and echoed in their reflection, and the crosswalk is reminiscent of the famous Beetles cover (Abbey Road). But, uh, kinda dangerous to be taking photos from the middle of the road!*!*
Posted by Kimberly Way at November 7, 2007 08:53 PMThat is beautiful...it's great that you can find a picturesque moment of every day...
Posted by Artemiss at November 7, 2007 09:12 PMI love it, beautiful reflection
Posted by Adrian99 at November 7, 2007 09:46 PMWhen you are taking shots like this, do you have someone with you keeping an eye on the trams or you just rely on the tram timetable and your luck
