Comments: couple in the rain

Excellent, capture. Love the metalic reflection mixed with the reflection off the water.

The back ground is just a tad too blurry for me though, slightly less blurring would have made it even better. The blurring makes me think the camera was in motion a little.

SAM!!!

This shot is amazing. You sure know how to tell a story. Could this be available in original size?

Thank you so much for making my day.

This photo has been growing on me slowly. I have now returned for the 3rd time to view it and each time I like it more an more. I guess it is their "status" of being left alone there that fascinates me.

Wonderful work really. I cant pu my finger on it, but this photo just drags me in. As if I want to go and sit down on one of the chairs. Light is perfect

Thank you is all I can say about this photograph...It makes me want to go out on a rainy evening in my city to see if I can capture anything half as good or interesting as this image.

Thanks for your effort

Shot made me go "wow!", but then 1/10 handheld at 200 mm? That's really wow!

Great title "couple in the rain", how did you do this handheld? 1/10s?

Posted by John at November 7, 2007 10:18 AM

How did you manage to handhold this shot at 1/10th of a second at 200mm. Realistically this shot should have been taken at 1/200 or so and yet it is still very sharp. I'm jealous. Is there a technique to this you were using? In any case, this shot is amazing. The chairs being in such contrasting focus with the background makes the whole picture pop. well shot

The title gives motion to those chairs. It makes me think the chairs are walking across the Square.

Nice shot. Excellent title.

I just really like this picture - in fact, I like it almost enough to buy it - and that's a compliment because I don't buy anything. GREAT job! Keep it up!
