Posted by sohrabmk at October 30, 2007 11:20 AMWhoah that is wiiiid. Seems larger than 17mm for some reason. I expect there was some straightening of buildings that had to be done...
Posted by ROB at October 30, 2007 04:02 PMCool Photo.
What is the web above the intersection?
Heh - those wires are always so...odd...when you notice them...then you can't NOT see them...try Queen and Victoria, south east corner for an even more dramatic sight - maybe because of the faux-gothic opposite corner...heh.

Posted by Jono at October 30, 2007 10:09 PMi cant believe those connection wires, at such a low height. any way good taken ph
Seems like they have placed a net to catch things falling from the sky
Posted by Navin Harish at October 31, 2007 04:00 AMALWAYS NICE TO SEE A PIC OF THE 'HOOD WHEN I LOG ON...GREAT SHOT...
Posted by Ray at October 31, 2007 12:19 PMPhotographs of this intersection never get old.
Posted by Amanda at November 1, 2007 01:28 PMVery nice.
Good capture.
The web of powerlines in the sky reminds me why i dislike streetcar lines. you would think that after nearly a century we would have invented something better... too bad we havent.
Posted by scott at November 2, 2007 02:36 AMSo nice to see a great shot of our neigbourhood! I'm always cursing the wires aboved but you have made them interesting.
Posted by susan.bock at November 2, 2007 11:39 PMAs if the city is held together by the wires and rails, gives a lot of tension in this otherwise a bit dull picture, a very clever eye you have!
