Very nice picture, I like the wide screen aspect of the image. I'm particularly thinking that it would make a fantastic wallpaper for my dual-screen display.
Is there the possibility that you could produce a higher res wallpaper version?
Thanks!
Posted by Liyster at October 28, 2007 03:00 AMooo. i've been enjoying your subway photos, very crisp lines and great contrast between teh black and whiteness and the bits of colour. sometimes parts of subway stations are have complete black and white palates. like ossington, it's great.
Posted by Andrea de Keijzer at October 28, 2007 08:47 AMThis photo I actually like! It's very clear, and Bloor Station actually looks kind of nice... lol. Things I like about it are the horizontal stripes of black, yellow, black again, green, while, green again, and then the white lights. And the poster for "30 Days of Night" give the calmness of the scene some nervous tension.

Outstanding! This composition is excellent.
Posted by Gavin at October 28, 2007 10:27 AMThere is certain balance to the two women in this picture. Your photos always make Toronto look so cool, like the world-class city it is. I am hesitant of taking pictures while on the TTC in this privacy-concerned society. In your case it is art... so I guess it is justified.
Posted by Manolo at October 28, 2007 10:38 AMI really like this one. Reminds me of the scene I see all the time at yonge and bloor when i'm waiting for the train. Great shot!
Posted by David at October 28, 2007 10:42 AMVery nice. I like the bar of black on the bottom.
Posted by Andrew at October 28, 2007 01:02 PMThis is great one~!!!
Posted by Patrick at October 28, 2007 02:32 PMAnother perfect composition. I love the way it is so clear and fresh too
Posted by One Way at October 28, 2007 02:41 PMThis resembles the scene in Matrix where Neo gets stuck in a station in between the 2 worlds.
The colors in your photos are so aesthetically pleasing, wonder if it is the photshop or is it the lens.
Excellent pictures!
Cool subway shot, love lights and sharpness here,
Posted by Mohamadreza at October 28, 2007 10:50 PMI'm always enjoying your picture in Toronro.
I look same view everyday but your picture looks like different world! Thank you,
Superb! Magic in digital form. Vivid, Crisp, Beautiful. Love the turquoise blue stripe and the yellow strip; they standout so sharp against the monochrome station colours. Like a scene from a movie.
Posted by scott at October 29, 2007 08:37 AMnice image Sam, but do people ever confront you as to why you just took their picture, if they happen to notice you?
Posted by Brian at October 29, 2007 09:18 AMI love that both of them are facing you, especially the girl on the phone.
Posted by Serena at October 29, 2007 04:30 PMThe starkness of the shapes here - all those rectangles, broken up only by the two small figures and "BLOOR," a strange word if you don't know Toronto, I guess - is really appealing. Very dramatic shot.
Posted by MarkDM at October 30, 2007 02:24 AMHave you ever had problems with TTC employs telling you not to take photos? I was stopped once and told that taking photos was not allowed. I asked why and was told terrorism. Interestingly enough it is still legal to take photos in the London Tube.
