this place is called 'Karlsplatz', named after the Austrian Emperor 'Karl VI.' (1685-1740)

Great photo of a great work of art.

I like the way this art work plays with our minds conceptions of space. It also has a playground sense of enjoyment radiating from it. Who doesn't like a nice wooden bridge to scamper across? Mind bending and fun--beautiful too.

I think it's a giant sundial and the marks on the pavement are the hours. Did you take the picture shortly after noon Sam?
