It also appears to be quite a long road. I like the lines and composition, and the clouds are nice, too.
Posted by MarkDM at August 1, 2007 01:27 AMAbsolutely beautiful picture! Would make an excellent wallpaper if you happened to release a higher resolution version. Thanks for all of the great photos and tips along the way.
Posted by Jason at August 1, 2007 09:03 AMI'm curious about whether you think your "style" has begun to trump the re-creation of the emotional impact that a particular time/place has on you (which, if I'm not mistaken, is typically your goal with photography?)
The reason I ask is because man, that sure looks like a bleak landscape!
Posted by terry at August 1, 2007 12:52 PMSeems that clouds are also moving along with the road!
Posted by Salman at August 1, 2007 03:58 PMAmazing - great shot - are you using more than a polarizing filter to get that deep blue sky?
Posted by matt at August 1, 2007 05:06 PMI love how all the clouds are on one side of the picture. The lines in the picture create a lot more depth. Look like the road less travelled!
Posted by Khadeeja at August 2, 2007 04:07 AMIncredible photo of a place that is within 1 kilometre of my parents' home.
I love what you've been doing with Line 1, a place I previously thought was exceedingly boring!
curious.
do you usually answer people's questions
via email?
This could be anywhere, but I recognized it instantly. I used to live just beyond those barns at the horizon. I've enjoyed your shots of my home town!
