Great shot. I love this kind of industrial photos. Judging by the light it was taken in the morning? I also love the disturbed reflection in the water and the dramatic sky.
Bye, Dennis.
Posted by Dennis at June 27, 2007 02:35 AMYou've probably seen it, but I was taking pictures at the Malting Co. And they've just installed a memorial art piece for the Irish at the corner edged by the water. They're quite beautiful to look at and photograph. Anyways, lovely photo's. Thank you.
Posted by guno at June 27, 2007 03:08 AMAhh reflections. I like this one more than the one you posted with the hop scotch. But that's my opinion of course. Great photograph.
Posted by Eric at June 27, 2007 07:05 AMThis is a really incredible image. It really conveys the magnitude of the building.
Posted by Salar at June 27, 2007 07:37 AMNice work on exposing for the sky.
Posted by ldw at June 27, 2007 10:08 AMFantastic shot. The movement of the water breaks up the building's reflection just the right amount. Great capture!
Posted by Alice at June 27, 2007 10:22 AMSam, this is really awesome!!! I'm a huge fan of your work. Best regards from Lithuania.
Posted by Tadas at June 27, 2007 12:57 PMWow, First time visiting here. Nice photo!
I would definitely come back to check out.
Great shot, I really like the mood. I pass by this building on my way to work, so it was kind of surreal to see a picture of it on here.
Posted by Raffi at June 27, 2007 05:31 PMThis reminds me of the 'Animals' album cover by Pink Floyd. Only thing missing is the flying pig :)
I've been a daily visitor for some months now and have really enjoyed your work.
Monolithic.
Nice photo. The sky and water are beautifully frozen as if all time had stopped.
Not my favorite scenery, however.
Posted by scott at June 27, 2007 08:35 PMinteresting industrial photos. The disturbed reflection in the water almost gives a scary atmosphere
