What photobag do you use while biking? I am looking for one, but still can not choose.

Nice effect on this one

I like it, I think it's harder than car panning pictures to get right.

1/30 on a bike ? What are you, a flying tripod ?!?

Posted by Ben at June 26, 2007 07:56 AM

Very good motion shot. Did you take the shot while moving on the bike or did you stop?

I've become so accustomed to see unbelievable clarity in your shots that this is a letdown, sorry. This is still pretty impressive given that you shot while riding. I do like the subjects though, and the matching turquiose headband, waistband.

I like this shot Sam, but I think a speed a bit lower would have create a better blur effect.
Here it is between too and not enough... for me...

You have a page and spectacular photographies.
Congratulations

There's a nice sense of action in this one. Cool.

Nice panning shot.

I admit, I don't comment all that often and I rarely read others comments; by the time it takes you've moderated the comments and made them public I've been and gone.

I took a look through your last few entries and noticed that I'd missed the Avril post. I read the comments on the entry. I know you've always said that you moderate comments for spam rather than whether they're positive or negative, but I've actually rarely seen any negative comments on your blog. I was impressed though that you actively made public some of the comments you received. Shows you have a thick skin - keep it up!

What a great shot! I really like the sense of movement....makes me feel almost dizzy. I can't believe you were on your bike when you shot this. Great job! (I hope you wear a helmet) :-)

Alice, I agree, safety first!
I felt reluctant to encourage this! haha

But, Yea! I do love it Sam.

There are a few bikers here; biking is totally different in and out of the mountains.

I love to do this with trees and vines and boulders covered with lichen (w/just my eye) when passing dense woods close by fast.

Lively.
Nice sense of movement. The distant objects appear a bit woobly, however.

These people must really dislike having their photo taken, to be running away from you so fast. Some people are just shy I guess.

(turquiose--very stylish...)

How did you take this photo? It's great!

Great shot ! I love the energy of this picture ...

These people are running because I was chasing them. Sam wants you to believe that he was just taking a photo, but the truth is, we go out at night and rob folks.
Sam is like a reverse Peter Parker. He takes nice pictures of people then, whammy! Back of the head with a sock full of coke cans!
