Comments: bricks, car and puddle

the reflection in the puddle give the impression as if the car is moving...interesting.

This is beautiful -- lots of fine textures and a vertical structure that's brought out by the scrolling. The tension or movement between verticals, horizontals, and detail, is amazing.

As with the one of royal lovers in Brighton, I'm struck by how differently it unfolds if you scroll from top to bottom rather than bottom to top. In this one the textures get finer as you go down, and the puddle is like a dream of the car. The drama of this would possibly be less if we first met a full view of the shot, as I also thought of the lovers shot. (Is there an area of photocritical study related to how the confines of the screen are affecting this era of photo composition?)

I also like how the curbs and the grot-marks on the wall become a kind of "vroom" for the car.

Cool details -- the curvy graffiti picking up the higher curves of paint on brick, the little star, the aloe in the window.

Beauty where we don't expect it. Thank you!

Seems too good to be true! You are always at the right place Sam (and you have a wonderful eye to spot all those great pics)

Nice shot. I like the almost monotone colors throughout the image.

For some reason that patchy bulding reminds me of a cow.

This could be a magazine ad for a car, so long as a snappy slogan was added in.

Nice car, but the building...

What is with the car-mercials lately? Nice building though.

i think your tallent for commerical spotlighting of products may be going to waste. that car company owes you some cash for highlighting their vehicle so well. You almost make me want to buy one and I dont even like that car that very much. the image is just so gripping.

I really like the composition here.
Nice job!
I agree with the response from Ash, I thought this would be a perfect advertisement or brochure image for the car company.

In such a setting, a car almost becomes a thing of beauty.
