Stunning photo. Lighting, shadow and space. Each of those element is perfectly balanced.

真的好喜欢你的广角摄影 特别是天空有飞机的!

these bikes look much happier than the one in Saturday's post.

The long shadows are great.

I love the long shadows from the bikes. Nice shot.

I have no idea why, but I love this one.

There is something done to the photo which takes it from being just an ordinary shot and makes it into a great one.

In the past you have had a few images where if you rolled over them with your cursor it would show what the picture looked like before processing. If I could make one request, show more of the before processing info. I, and I am sure others, would appreciate the work you put into these more if you showed the raw picture before you tweaked it.

I love the light coming through the leaves at the top of the photo. also the minimal amount of people and cars makes it peaceful. Nice work!

I used to live right near here when I was in Toronto. NYC is nice, and where I was born, but TO is such a lovely city.

Posted by Micah at May 9, 2007 08:16 PM

It's been a few years since I moved from TO to UK, but... I think that's Maitland Street, not Alexander. :-)

Posted by Howard at June 21, 2007 11:21 AM

No, that's definitely Alexander St. I just moved here a month ago and I live on this street! It's so cool that my favourite photography blog has a picture of exactly where I live!
