Posted by elaine at April 18, 2007 05:31 AMThat's the first image since weeks I like on your site. Sorry man, but your creativity had a bit of a lack recently... But as I get your daily Feedburner email, I'll just wait for more better pictures!
Besides I'm wondering when spring will be in Toronto? We already had above 25°C these days in Central Europe.
Cheers,
Erik
god
it's so glamorous
This is a great shot. Having the can in the photo makes it.
Interesting plans they have for the Brick works. It will be something to watch as the transformation begins. Seems like a lot of work ahead to get the project done.
Posted by Laurie at April 18, 2007 06:34 AMSuperb detail right down to the perfectly still water. The can in the foreground in a perfect accent in the scene, but then it leads you to keep looking for more too.
Posted by ROB at April 18, 2007 07:59 AMGreat picture, I love the perpective and the whole reflection in the ice. The opening at the far end give also a lot of strength to this image.
By the way, I must think you since its your pics that gave me the will to start my own photoblog.

the tunnel with the grafitti alongside with the empty can inside an old factory is very very cool.

Great effect you've accomplished here. And a good follow-up to yesterday's I believe.
Posted by rb at April 19, 2007 12:30 PMWow, the ice being so perfectly smooth is incredible. You've done a great job with this photo as always!
Posted by iain at April 19, 2007 01:02 PMi don't know what the guy's talking about about your creativity lacking: the picture of the bricks inside the brickworks, with the slow leaking exposure, is brilliant! great work!
Posted by johnny at April 19, 2007 01:50 PMA perspective marked by a series of elements of different natures that give him rhythm and at the same time content. I tell also the expressive strength of the whole composition at the level of the texture and color giving some dramatism to the work. Very well!
Posted by filipe franco at April 19, 2007 07:09 PMGood shot.
Posted by alexandru savu at April 20, 2007 06:27 PMI love this! Rundown buildings are one of my favorite subjects. Nicely captured and excellent lighting!
