some of us were uttering this
back in 2000
when the SCOTUS
gave him the presidency.
Looks like a Banksy
Posted by Mark Burton at April 1, 2007 10:27 AMApril Fool indeed!
Posted by Damon Schreiber at April 1, 2007 10:31 AMThe drawing shows a degree of excellence, but I wouldn't know who it's supposed to be for sure. Could be Bush, could be Blair, could be someone else. Some of the Glyph looks like oriental writing.
But the photo is, overall, interesting for its abstraction.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at April 1, 2007 10:53 AMis that a Banksy?
Posted by mizzmonsta at April 1, 2007 11:03 AMI saw these in Bratislava (Slovakia) when I went home to visit my family back in winter 2003. I didn't know they were spread all over Europe.
Posted by barbara at April 1, 2007 02:26 PMGraffiti art is one of the best.
Posted by Michael at April 1, 2007 02:38 PMGreat picture. Mostly because it will make Hugh Petrie froth at the mouth and report everyone on this website to the department of homeland security.
Posted by k at April 1, 2007 04:26 PMnice shot. i love this motive (not only because of the statement)
Posted by Florian at April 1, 2007 05:05 PMIt is true.
Posted by javga at April 1, 2007 06:37 PMThis is sooooo excellent. I love that there's anti-bush propaganda in other countries.

Posted by rasterimage at April 1, 2007 09:12 PMNice. Very BanksyHugoChavezesque. :-) Very nice. Seen in Brighton, eh? "When they kick at your front door, How you gonna come? With your hands on your head, Or on the trigger of your..." :-) Keep 'em coming, Sam.
Posted by BrotherAli at April 1, 2007 09:21 PMThe truth and nothing but the truth.
Not that he'd know one thing about the truth if it hit him on his pointed hard head.
Posted by Margaret at April 1, 2007 10:53 PMDanger for sure! :-)
Posted by Michael at April 1, 2007 11:21 PMbanksy?
Posted by liz at April 2, 2007 12:43 AMThat's not art. That's trash.
Graffiti sucks, in all forms.
And shame on you for raising its exposure.
Posted by Harald at April 2, 2007 11:04 AMHa! So true. Great find!
Posted by Alice at April 2, 2007 11:06 AMI like the texture of the wall and all of the elements throughout. It comes together for a really good composition.
Posted by Abe at April 3, 2007 06:45 AMGood envorienment and composition!
Posted by Osiriums Ventaka at April 3, 2007 09:32 AMGreat photo. And yes, Bush is poison to all. The South American president (Venezuela I believe) that said he is evil was very correct.
Sad what he's done to the U.S. Glad to see others agree.

Harald, I hope you're kidding. Graffiti is art in its purest form. It takes a gifted individual to go from sketchbook with pencil to concrete with paint. There's very little room for error, and when an artist can successfully manifest his vision with spraypaint - it truly is an awe-inspiring thing. A lot of graffiti looks terrible and has no place on the streets, sure. But go to a modern art gallery and try to convince me that every piece of art belongs there...no way. Art will always be subjective so stop denying it and pissing people (or at least me) off. Pardon the rant...look at this photo:
