Posted by Ryano at March 14, 2007 11:49 AMI don't know why, but I really really like this one.
I think it's the reflection off the cement and the cars. Feels like I'm actually standing there - it isn't often that I get that response from these types of shots.
well executed A+++++ WILL BUY AGAIN EXCERRENTSELLER
Posted by Kyle at March 14, 2007 11:56 AMWow! Reminds me of a photo of mine, but I like yours better.
Posted by Taylor at March 14, 2007 12:20 PMCertainly fiery sky. But rather ordinary a long way from the best of Sam I've seen. To each his own.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at March 14, 2007 12:20 PMI love this shot. The busyness of the cables makes it more than just a beautiful sunset.

Posted by Ravenmn at March 14, 2007 12:53 PMI've been coming to this site for over a year, and this stands out as one of my very favorite of your WA shots. (Just switched from the 10-22 on the 20D to the 17-40 on the 5D, myself.) In May I'll be coming to Toronto for the first time--looking forward to it!

First time here, love your images... they are amazing. your site is bookmarked for my daily dose.

I love this completely. The rose colored street and tracks is just beautiful (and those lines - whoa!). This is great, great!
Posted by puzzled at March 14, 2007 03:26 PMWonderful! The pastel tones of the sky and the muted tones of the street and buildings just go together perfectly. What a view!

Posted by Astin at March 14, 2007 05:04 PMsuperb depth in this one. Great compo with those rails leading the viewer all the way to the end of the picture...
Posted by Maarten at March 14, 2007 05:48 PMTotally outdone yourself and that is something after yesterday! Was makes this especially striking is its completely devoid of people.
Posted by ROB at March 14, 2007 06:43 PMThe roads are made of copper and bronze, and the photograph is pure gold.Sam is the Master!

Beautiful!!!
Hi Sam.
Your site is the first I check out every day and today's shot, like the vast majority, is terrific.
You've spent a lot of time at the top of the Sheraton hotel, so here's a shot you might be interested in. It's a great photo of the peregrine falcon nest there with the city hall in the background.

Thanks for all the great photos.

Posted by Tony at March 14, 2007 08:00 PMI wouldn't stand in the middle of the street
Posted by Adam F at March 14, 2007 09:59 PMWow. I too noticed those colours last evening and wondered who else was seeing it. I'm glad that one of those people was you and you captured it so perfectly. This is one of those shots that will be in the coffee table book you publish in twenty years.
Posted by Graham at March 14, 2007 10:02 PMI usually don't leave a comment because saying "Great shot!" every day doesn't make sense. But this picture deserves a comment. The colours are great, the composition is spot-on, and the sense of scale is pulling me right in. I love how smooth and clean everything looks, yet the picture is tack sharp. Even the highlights are well-exposed. Great shot!

Posted by Gary at March 15, 2007 08:42 PMUnbelievable, Sam you've outdone yourself time after time. Love the colours...I'm still awestruck from this picture...I just love the skyscraper in the background and the skyline.
Posted by Vinh at March 16, 2007 12:45 AMThis is another one of those really amazing shots Sam. I'm about the 68th comment but I still had to add mine.
Posted by Nate at March 16, 2007 09:09 AMIt's not bad, I wonder how it would look if you had the camera a few inches off the ground?
Posted by rob at March 16, 2007 05:38 PMsimple and cool shot. i really like your toronto photographs because they show the citylife not just the city itself.
