excellent shot Sam. Wish we had snow here to photograph. I particularly like the teddy bear attached to the bike :)

Seems like Mr. Bean forgot the teddy on the bike.

Well done !

Nicely captured! Love the processing and the subtle hint of colours in the background.

brrrr.....

Great shot of winter. Even the neon lights in the background look cold and grey. Another nice bike shot.

Should be in around 78 degrees in Quail Valley, California today.

Wrote a long comment but I think it got deleted..

Is the average temperature really below freezing for two or three months in Toronto?

Posted by Gary at March 2, 2007 09:07 AM

Definitely makes me feel cold! Nice shot.

Now that's a fun shot. Obviously a lady with taste and humour and with the snow it makes for a bit of a rough day for the teddy bear and rider.

We are getting snow in Killaloe as I write on Mar. 2 at 10 AM. We're on the edge of it all it seems, 400 k north of Toronto.

Really a beautiful winter scene. You have a lot of snow over there.

We had a lot of heat here in Mississippi yesterday. Well, 80 degrees anyway. I like seeing shots like this.

cool (literally) image. I like the way it's almost b&w, but then again, there are tiny colored accents...

Posted by Maarten at March 2, 2007 03:42 PM

too bad most of it melted before noon.

Great picture. It has been ages since we here in Holland had a decent winter ;-(

I know this exact location, I walk by everyday. The bike is still there, with the teddy and all! Great shot once again! The white balance is fantastic.
Just a few more weeks until all this melts. Can't wait....

This is a really interesting bike shot, Sam. It looks like a selective desaturation. Great tones all around!
