Good idea, nice shot, man!

you may say it's refracting, but i am still persuaded there is a piece of wall in the sky!

OK, I've been visiting this website for over a year now and have been amazed by these photos every single day. I must know your sharpening technique.

Thanks for all the photos and ideas and inspiration over the last year.

Now this is your quick eye again. Curious bit of refraction.

A fun find.

very interesting shot Sam. You have a great eye for things...

The G7 also loses the previous model's fast f2.0-3.0 lens. It makes do with a f2.8-4.8 lens. A shame really. Build quality is nice, but I'd rather take a G6.

This is still pretty amazing despite your frustration with the camera :]

I'll defend the swiveling LCD. I have one on my Canon PowerShot A620, and I really like it. It allows me to shoot photos of people while standing at a 90 degree angle from them and looking down, not toward them. Stealthy. Also, it's great for getting low-angle shots of pets and plant life without having to lie on the ground or contort my body in ways it just doesn't bend anymore.
