Been watching for a while - thought this picture captured the dreamy qualities of the snow falling perfectly - I guess you Canadians may be getting fed up of the snow by now though!

What can I say ? I am always asking myself what and how you edit your images. But I think I will never really know. The waterhydrants colour in relation to the rest of the image is really stunning.

Awesome shot, still haven't seen any of the white stuff this year :( No snow either :-) he he.

We haven't had very much snow this year...I am a little jealous.

Nicely composed.

A great captured moment! It's hard to get snow to look good but you did it! I also like the bright firepost. If you would like to contribute some pictures to my site for artistic photo, I would be thrilled!

Great street scene.

I love the way you captured the snow flakes. And it looks a little like the man is stuck in the snow bank.

the snowflakes look amazingly sharp.. and that's a huge amount of snow!

Neat shot. At first glance, I thought the top of the lightpost on the right was a big snowball heading straight for his head :-)

there's a beautiful quality of frozen action here.

What a great winter/snow shot - I just love the textural detail on the fire hydrant

What can I say? I love this shot! Very unusual the way the yellow hydrant anchors the composition... and the man is in such a fantastic and humourous pose - candid and drowning in snow as he goes about his everyday life! Excellent capture.

I have no idea why my eyes are playing tricks on me but it looks like the man is cut out and placed there. I know he is not but, maybe it's too late in the evening. Anyways I miss Toronto and it's a great reminder of home.

I was seeing the same thing as mentioned in the comment above... the man looks cut out and pasted on top of the snow pile. Is he? :) Regardless it's a great shot detailing the light, fluffy, falling snow and a rare spot of colour in a Canadian winter.

the man is walking behind the snow pile, along a shoved stretch of sidewalk. The cut out image you see is an optical illusion. Look closely and you can see he is behind the snow pile. It is very hard to see the strech of shoveled sidewalk, but it is clearly there, if you are familiar with snow accumulation, you will see it.

Good photo Sam. I like how the man is trying to lead a relatively normal lifestyle dispite the obsticles of cold and snow. Looks cold.
