Comments: the booth

What a beautiful picture.
I thought I'd have a google for the pier.
And found this:
In December 2005 the last remaining physical structure, the "little white hut" was lost when strong winds broke it away into the sea. Ironically, when the rest of pier had been intact, the hut had been said to be in serious threat of falling into the sea; yet it was the last piece to remain.

Great shot, legend has it that it's the fortune teller's booth...

a perfect example of how a little bird makes a great picture

Nice shot, Sam.
Seaside resorts like this one were once the Costa del Sol of Victorian and Edwardian Britain. The old and rickety infrastructure captured in this shot shows the faded splendor, and the toll of changing tastes and passing time.

The burnt pier makes a more interesting pattern in this shot than the previous shots posted. I especially like the bird high in the sky and those resting along parts of the structure.

A sad desolate scene though.

I bet this place was amazing. A shame it was burnt down. Nice shot.

I am not certain the framing in here is all that good. To me the structures of the pier overwhelm the subject - the booth. The lack of continuity in the bridge does contain drama but again the framing hids it rather than emphasize it.

Nice B&W photo. Like that bird in the far distance. Well done again.

Very Nice shot, I like the atmosphere of the picture. I also like the sign saying "Danger Underwater" but something makes me think it's not only there.

Good Photo! It is a shame that this booth is not there anymore.
