Comments: three wires and a block

Almost looks like a big LEGO brick! :-) The only thing I think is a bit off is the powerlines?! on the right side of the image

Cool shot. Have you edited the sky? It looks very vivid and fantastically complements the colour of the building.

Love the shape of the walls on this building, interesting image Sam.

without the humans the inhumanity becomes obvious!

Great lines and perspective. Also love the stark white of the building against that beautiful sky.

Looks like a fortress or a prison.

Yuck!

Great shot! I like the way the power lines on the upper right are lined up perfectly with the top edge of the building. Great composition!

hi sam,

found out about your site from the 2007 bloggies. voted for you!

this is a good image to address your process when a horizon is not defined. where do you blend?

i guess in this pic: diagonally!

your work is always breathtaking. thanks!

This is really interesting! I like the three parallel lines in the upper right hand corner, the black slashing through the blue field. There's definitely an ominous tension in this photo.

Very Clean, i like it. Looks more like sommething constructed(!?) tha a photo.

i am a big fan. i love the color of the sky and the lack of color in the building. the power lines hit home for me. i am working on a project incorporating power lines, buildings and the sky. i want to put a book together of shots like this. i will keep you informed if you might be interested.

Like the vivid color of the sky. It's very beautiful. Did you use a circular polarizer for shooting this photo?

Posted by Mohamadreza at February 5, 2007 05:04 PM

Great angle. Interesting subject matter. Great shot.

The three lines are basically parallel with the one side of the building. Great photo. I think my grandfather works in that building...
