Comments: red london bus

Beautifully composed!

Have you noticed that at any time you can see an airplane at any corner of the London sky?!

It's not a *real* red London bus... although I think they got rid of all those classically designed ones for "green" ones. Love the photos as ever.

Sam, as you may know this bus isn't a famous 'Routemaster' and is a usual double deck bus

I like it, really catches the feeling of London, the sky reflecting in the windows are what makes it stand out I think,

How I love reflections

Hi, Many of your photos, including this one, has this certain look to the color, like somewhat high contrast, slightly desaturated.. not sure how to describe it. Are you using some kind of lens filter for these? Thanks!

Wonderful image of great architecture.

Interesting how the 17-40 gives more convergence of verticles than your 10-22 super wide. In this case wider at top than bottom, which is super odd.

Putain de contraste, photo épatante !

Great lighting and reflection on the windows.

I'm curious as to what the shadow on the building is from. A fountain? A Monument? Oh, and great pic as always!

sam that photo is surreal, it looks so close to a painting.

That building looks so cool! Nice Capture =)

Nice, crisp shot. Almost too crisp though. The building almost seems like a very well done 3d rendering...

Being a Londoner, I adore the city warts'n'all- but you've made it look so fabulous here - incredible - I've never once seen the sky reflected in the windows in that way...
and a fast-disappearing red non-bendy bus too...
Thanks!

Very good colors.
Nice sky reflex!

Awesome Dynamic Range, did the contrast and tones come from multi exposure, did you use Photomatix?

Hats off!

This is taken on The Strand, looking west into Trafalgar Square and Whitehall. The large shadow on the building is being cast by Nelson's Column.

Holy Crispness, Batman!
