And of course the left is the passenger seat.

Cool action shot. Would be even cooler if a police car with a flashing siren is right behind. :p But the point is, you make even mundane shots like this look great and action-packed.

I love you SO MUCH for posting this. SO SO MUCH. I'm a gigantic MINI enthusiast and I love your photography so this picture is just about perfect to me!! Beautiful as well! I've tried to get a decent picture from my MINI's mirrors however I have yet to take one that turns out as good as yours :P

Enjoy England and say hi to some MINIs for me!!

xx

I like this angle. I'm amazed at how optically clear those side view mirrors are.

Posted by Graham at December 29, 2006 06:06 AM

I wish I could see a photo of you taking that photo! Trying to figure out how you did it with the window up.

And that's the time to look briefly backwards at what happened this year, before looking at the next year.

Feliz Ano Novo!

I'm almost on my way to Brighton ;-)

Like the reflections of the clouds on the window. Comes out well!

That's one very polished car, there... :-)
This shot has something timeless and beautiful about it. The colours and the shape of the wing-mirror, the slightly cloudy weather...really lovely. Thanks.

Sweet - a mini shot!
Nice color.

OK, so where were you in the car? It looks like the driver's seat.

Cool and Tricky!!

Posted by lama at December 29, 2006 08:54 PM

Very creative. Better than most in the side view mirror shots I've seen. Love the reflections. That car looks sparkling clean!

Posted by Laurie at December 29, 2006 09:52 PM

I really like the way the sky is reflected in the window of the car. The tones of they sky in the reflection on the car seem to be the tones that you produce more often, and it's great to see them contrasted against another set of sky tones.

Sam, I think you must have that Canon grafted to your hands. You seem to have it with you everywhere. .. nice shiny mini! Cheers.

Cool shot. Makes me long for my old Mini and the great road trips we had. (you can pack a lot more into those things than most would think). Interesting view point at the end of the year, not sure it was intentional, but appreciated nonetheless. Have a great 2007.

Sam, your pictures always makes me think how you would have taken those and what post process you done on them.

This is fantastic shot and so sharp inspite you have taken in moving car.

Kudos to you.

Posted by Santhosh at December 30, 2006 12:58 AM

Wow. I've tried to take the rearview mirror shot many times, but it never comes out as crisp and as colourful as this shot. Beautiful.
