MERRY CHRISTMAS!
=)
Nice photos as always.

Nice pictures, which I am sure you took in colour. So what motivates you to publish in b/w? An effort to dampen the highly commercial festive time of year?

Happy holiday you too, good stuff.

These images make the skaters appear as if in an abstract winter world.
Very nice

Wow! Your pictures amaze me time and again! Your work proves that it doesn't depend on the equipment but on the eye! I have yet to attain your level with my 30D....

I wondered if you were so into the DDOI you created that you would post on Christmas day.

Now I'm pondering if you shoot it in B&W mode or convert the images in the camera or on the PC? I can convert in camera with my Nikon D80 but in the short time I've had it I haven't noticed a setting to shoot in B&W mode. I'm not sure there would be much difference as per the differences of shooting B&W film or color then converted to B&W which is different?

A good thought for the day is that I expect you are happy to see a move of opposition to Mhamood Ahmadinejad in Iran. So much wisdom, and history to share and having it suppressed - baffling!

Merry Christmas again.

A lovely set of photos Sam....the choice of black and white is spot on and the movement really makes the atmosphere. Phil
