Comments: amber and book

My father-in-law caught the piece the other night and phoned to tell me to tune in - we don't watch tv though so couldn't. I tried the link to the video you've given and it's just spinning, nothing coming down. If I hit video.citynews.ca directly it pops right up so you might want to check the URL.

Ah the pumkin shot! Great choice for front page. I remember you said you weren't too happy about the picture in the first place - but "we" loved it.

Hot girl, hot book....you can't go wrong!

Everytime you say AGO though, all I can think of is American Guild of Organists, and it makes me shudder. Stupid work ;)

Hi there - I vist your site every day and love the images.
Please can you tell me how much it would be to get a copy of the book over to me here in UK? It's a shame I'll have missed Christmas, but I think my friend will really love it.
thanks in advance and well done,
Sarah

Posted by Seigiard at December 15, 2006 03:54 PM

Sam, I deliberately looked away from my computer whenever they were showing some of the photos that appear in the book ... I want it to be a surprise when I receive my copy! From looking at your website though, I can already see that two of my favourites are included. Well done!

Many congrats in order dude :) will definately be putting my own order in for the book soon. I can't wait to get a better look at it.

I check the blog everyday and your pictures inspire me to take a lot more of my own :) thanks mate!

Posted by Amy at December 16, 2006 06:43 AM

"Canada's Top Photographer" - at least according to CityNews. Don't get a big head, Sam! Ha! This is awesome. I'm going to order my copy today. You inspired me to use Blurb to do a collection of my own stuff from a trip I took to Europe earlier this year. The interface is a godsend compared to iPhoto and it's half the price, too. Sweet.

We have to get together soon!

Cheers and best of the season to you and Talayeh,
Hamish

Good job!!

Hi Sam,
Your wonderful little book arrived yesterday. Even though I've seen almost every image online it was a real pleasure to sit down with the book and look again. I was really struck by some of the facing page combinations. For example bay and king beside palazza publico. Well done!
Best wishes,
-Brian
