Comments: red leaves macro

Absolutely beautiful.

Seems like the 3 central leaves came out of the screen. A really beautiful example of what can be accomplished with careful use of shallow depths of field.

Great macro of this leaf. It jumps off the screen. The details are excellent.

Tout un symbole !

I saw a piece on you on CP24 last night, it's impressive on how far you can come with something that starts as just a hobby.

lovely macro!

Lovely texture

Too bad it looks like its been through unsharp mask ten times over

I love it. It's just shows how vivid the world is. It is very rewarding to sit back and see that what goes on in one's life is not the only going on in general. That's life there you have captured, amazing colours, lines. I love you use of DOF. Beautiful!!!

Wow! Beautiful shot. The DOF is perfect and the color is amazing. Very nice job! You always do such nice work.

wonderful colours
it seems live!

very nice color palette!
the sharpness on the focused leaves makes you almost feel them, and the structure comes out very well too ... good one!

Great work Sam. The focus with your macro lens is just stunning. Love the detail of the drop and the blurriness around.
Keep up the great shots. We'll never be bored.
Thats a daily dose of inspiration and happiness.

Breath taking! I am always grateful when someone reminds me to take notice to the beauty within the small. Thank you Sam.

hi sam,
it is a very good idea to selfpublish your wow-photos (wow is THE comment in the comments...)
i would realy like to see some of the selected photos, is it possible to see the photos of your first book ddoi.

unfortunately i can not find the shipping prices from northamerica to europe.
what about are they, and alternatively when i order to send the book to a friend of mine in seatle, how much would it cost.

I don't agree with the unsharp mask comment (above). To me, it just looks very well focussed. Excessive unsharp masking would have left halos around the edges.

Nice work again, Sam.

Can't decide which one is better - this one or that one with yesterday's angels. I would love to have them both on my desktop... please :)

This one is very pretty, I especially enjoy the texture, it just makes me want to reach out and feel how soft the leaves are.
