There is something entirely delicious about having coffee on a patio in a street alone in the shade.
Posted by dan at November 26, 2006 04:58 AMOh, nice photo! I like the the way the zig-zag dividing line on the far wall delineates the warm sunlit area above from the shaded part of the scene below. The location looks quite inviting; I wish I could go there.
Posted by Gavin Hart at November 26, 2006 05:04 AMI love this. Especially the two elderly gentlemen in the background. Just fabulous!
Posted by JR at November 26, 2006 06:56 AMThat is THE phiotographic definition of charm and appeal. It is not simply beautiful to look at but it is a conveyance of place and mood!

vaghean lezzat mibaram:)
Looks breezy for a closed in spot. I note the clips to keep the table cloths from blowing off the tables.
Not a very cheerful looking spot to eat.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at November 26, 2006 09:54 AMTable for two, please.
This is one of the first things I picture when I think of Europe.
Posted by Khadeeja at November 26, 2006 11:43 AMGreat story telling.
Posted by Andrew at November 26, 2006 12:11 PMA quiet place for resting a bit in a city where art's overdose is almost everywhere...
Posted by Jonas Detarsis at November 26, 2006 02:19 PMNice. My eye jumped to the two guys at right and wanted to make a story for them. Arguing? Asking directions? Interesting.
Posted by Peter F at November 26, 2006 02:41 PMAm I the only one who thinks this is a boring picture?
Posted by dustbunny at November 26, 2006 06:15 PMBonjour,
Very nice shot as usually..Frame, dof and colors! Bravo!
This really is so old world and yet so contemporary with it's cafe.
Very inviting shot.
Posted by Laurie at November 26, 2006 06:54 PMSam, I love the discussion going on the right hand side of this picture. Its a good capture of the hand gestures & body language.
Posted by Abraham Alexander at November 26, 2006 07:42 PMI love the tablecloth colours!
Posted by Peter Mac at November 26, 2006 10:21 PMWhat are the contents of the light blue boxes atop the tables?
Posted by eleni at November 27, 2006 01:11 AMThis scene looks extremely familiar! Is it near Galleria degli Uffizi? If so, I think I've actually been to this cafe!
Posted by Vega at November 27, 2006 05:14 AMWow, what a place to have a meal
Posted by navin at November 27, 2006 05:17 AMIs the dude in the back throwing gang signs! Nice
Posted by shane j montgomery at November 27, 2006 03:48 PMUm...what are those round things in the [2nd floor?] windows? It's driving me nuts not knowing.
Posted by Mahal at December 3, 2006 09:14 PMi was drawn to this photo...and then i realized why--i ate there when i was in florence! it was only about 3 blocks away from my hotel. the food was alright, but the sights were amazing!
Posted by andrea at December 18, 2006 01:23 PMI infact had a coffee here with my sister aswell. They charge like a wounded bull and it is quite touristy. The market isn't far away.
Posted by Julian at December 19, 2006 05:06 AMÉ lindo, maravilhoso.
Fico horas vendo essas fotos e não me canso.
Cada uma mais linda que a outra
for the person who wondered, those round things in the windows are from airconditioners, those things, 'pipes', are attached from the cooling system to the windows
