Nice tones. However, I prefer the winter shot (with the blur on the window)...
Posted by RĂ©gis at November 23, 2006 04:27 AMwow, i love this one...
i can't believe how staticthe guys in the starbuck are....!!!!!
Nice one, again...
Thanks
Posted by nicolas at November 23, 2006 04:52 AM...ah it was in winter, that would explain those big snowballs in front of Starbucks.
Posted by Clyde at November 23, 2006 04:54 AMThe two shots when compared seem like totally different worlds.
Posted by ROB at November 23, 2006 06:20 AMlove it
Posted by Susie at November 23, 2006 07:19 AMBeautiful night atmosphere. And I like the little guy looking at you...
Posted by Jonas Detarsis at November 23, 2006 07:48 AMSeems you were carefully watched as you took this. That your bike parked by the garbage?
Starbuck's use transparent garbage bags? Never seen them so they must be special.
I have not been able to understand the modern desire to drink coffee made with burned beans as Starbuck and all the others now serve. Even the so-called "classic" blends like Maxwell House are not really the mellow stuff we had 30 years ago. The worlds a burnout. Yuck!
Posted by Hugh Petrie at November 23, 2006 09:19 AMExcellent shot Sam, very unique!
Posted by Craig at November 23, 2006 09:57 AMLooks like the boxes from winter were moved behind the bike to make room for more garbage in plastic bags. :)
Great shot. Great idea. Great composition. Great timing!
Posted by Kevin at November 23, 2006 12:06 PMThis is my favourite coffee shop. It's a cozy place to read a book in the winter. The winter photo is how I always remember it because the windows are always steamy.
Posted by Benoit Shelston at November 23, 2006 12:34 PMI agree with the first poster. This is a wonderfull shot, but the winter shot adds a certain something to it. (I dont know what though)
Posted by Mike at November 23, 2006 12:43 PMi can't lie, it's not one of my favourite shots. i think the winter version is so much nicer. maybe it's because i'm not as technically/aristically savy as the rest of you and i don't realize how difficult it is to capture a passing street car but i don't like the end result...it looks like something i would taken by chance...but i like the details in the image including the patron inside the coffeeshop, the bicycle and the little paper snow flakes....
Posted by kiana at November 23, 2006 04:19 PMBeautiful. I love the light of this picture

Posted by Connie at November 25, 2006 02:06 AMAwesome pic. Is there a possibillity to get a wallpaper sized image of this marvellous picture. Especially cinema display sized (1680x1050) would be just perfect. I hope this doesn't sound to demanding…
Posted by ben at November 25, 2006 08:28 AMThis is a great shot. Love the feeling of movement and the fact that you can see the guy across the street.
