Comments: red and green

I am thoroughly enjoying your daily dose. And damn! Do you have a nice camera that takes great, clear pictures. I love the texture that I can almost feel in so many of your photos. Thanks for sharing your talent & creativity!

It appears that these are row houses. That's what they are called here anyway. I am always fascinated by row houses. Sometimes they are almost identical, but when they are all different I really think they are very interesting.

this is a great visual bit of the market to counter the rainy dreary grey overcasts this past week in toronto.

very nice reminder of brighter, redder days.

Wow, Photoshop really brought out those reds, eh?

Lsst night I discovered this site whilst blog-hopping. One image was all it took to grind my blog-hopping to a screeching halt. Here I sat for nearly 2 hours trying to get caught up. You have a new dedicated fan, that's for sure.

Regardng todays image, great composition as usual, love the subject too. Something bugs me however, about the shadow cast by the eaves. I wonder what difference a half hour would have made one way or the other.

mmm i love the colors in this photo. it strikes me as a bit odd that the previous got so many comments and this one got so few because i like this one better. the previous one is definitely cool, but i just love the richness this one has because of the color! :)

Funny, even the flowers are red with green leaves !
It is structured the same way as the house. Cool shot !

What a lovely pic & beautifully kept house. I live in a terrace in the UK, but it's in greyscale tones, not anywhere near as dazzling as this...
It's intriguing, though - they seem to have lined their external steps in butcher's fake grass. That's bizarre yet kind of cool. As far as I'm aware, that's something you never see outside of market stalls in Britain.
Lovely texture & colour. I know it's not a proper critical response, but you make me want to trip up those stairs, feeling the fake grass/carpet shifting underfoot, just to see who took such care to match their border plants to their exterior painting...
Beautiful. Keep taking these photos.
