I think it's great to see their country supporting ours! Way to go Montreal!!
Posted by coop at October 20, 2006 08:25 AMUuukh! my gawd! so ba-yootaful. the curves and straight lines work so well together.
Posted by furt at October 20, 2006 09:40 AMHey Sam,
Just wondering, what modifications did you make to the image, and how did you do them?
Regards
Ahmed
Posted by Ahmed Hassan at October 20, 2006 11:56 AMGreat Picture.
Any chance you can go back and turn the camera 90 degrees so it would make awesome wallpaper for my pc?
Good Job, and Nice Flag !!
Posted by Chuck at October 20, 2006 12:10 PMPerhaps "coop" should read Sam's tags more carefully. The images was taken in Quebec City, not Montreal.
Posted by Alan at October 20, 2006 01:57 PMBonjour,
I admire the quality of DOF, and the composition..Bravo! :-)
great what strange atmosphere you achieve to create with the colors you chose. fantastic.
Posted by kurt at October 20, 2006 02:38 PMGreat picture Sam! Love the colours. And even if it is a bit dark, it makes it that much more unique.
And coop, Quebec City isn't Montreal...in fact it is about 260km away...and not eveyone in Quebec thinks that it should be its own country. So please do not assume otherwise.
Posted by Andrew at October 20, 2006 03:58 PMReally good "dark" colours and composition. Well done

lol.
Posted by jokes at October 20, 2006 05:54 PMwow, a canada flag in quebec city... that is rare! cool shot!!
Posted by arya at October 20, 2006 06:48 PMUsually, most people take the shot in the opposite direction, where we can see the "Château Frontenac". Nice shot!
Posted by AirBete at October 21, 2006 01:06 PMYeah, it's a shame that quebecers won't appreciate all the nice things thier REAL country (Canada) do for them. BTW, nice shot, Sam!
Posted by Ben at October 21, 2006 05:12 PMVive le Québec libre!!!
Posted by Guillaume at October 22, 2006 02:05 PMI'm sorry. I didn't read the title, and jumped the gun. I am truly sorry to anyone who lives in Montreal or Quebec City for my comments, they were rude and thoughtless. You both have two great countries, and I love them both. I love the smell, the food, everything about them! You guys are awesome, keep it up!
P.s. I'm sorry I can't translate this to French so that you'd actually read it. You'll have to get off your high horse and read it in English, again, my bad.
Posted by coop at October 23, 2006 09:38 AMSuch good curves and lines throughout, not to mention the rich colors and tones. Fantastic low perspective - this shot really works.
