Posted by Laurie at October 18, 2006 05:43 AM

So.... How was it? I heard they played the whole album?

Posted by brian at October 18, 2006 06:11 AM

What kind of equipment and settings did you use for these photos?

Posted by Fredrik at October 18, 2006 06:50 AM

cool! I knew you were there somewhere! I was on the other (north) side. Great concert, like all Maiden shows. "Scream for me, Toronto"! :)

Finally, concert pics of someone I've heard of (and actually like)! Interesting to see how different things can be only a short distance away in the world.

Posted by Taco at October 18, 2006 08:10 AM

What?!?! Yet another concert you did not inform me about Sam!!! LOL Hope you had a great time.

Posted by H34rt at October 18, 2006 09:20 AM

Posted by Lysa at October 18, 2006 03:02 PM

i used to be in love with Eddy!

Posted by faraari at October 18, 2006 05:55 PM

Simply amazing images for the difficult light conditions that exist for bands. They like to create atmosphere that the camera hates.

Posted by ROB at October 18, 2006 05:57 PM

I saw Rob Thomas in concert in Moncton, NB last year (stop laughing) and I was allowed my camera in (which is a decent prosumer camera). The only cameras they prohibited were high end dSLR's with long zoom lenses.

Amazing shots, really neat and sharp. My friends went to the Iron Maiden show in Quebec last week, eventually got their arms signed by Steve Harris, and later got it tattooed. Crazy story, but anyway, great shots Sam. :)

Posted by Oliver Chank at October 18, 2006 07:44 PM

Awesome shots - especially with a point and shoot.

Posted by ALD at October 18, 2006 09:18 PM

Nice shot! Most concert shots I see aren't exposed half as well as these!

Posted by Kyle at October 19, 2006 01:59 AM

You don't need a good camera. A black box will do you fine. Even with that you will take some pictures, nobody could take. Well done.
I thought I could take some fine pictures with a powershot, but I WAS WRRRRRRONG!!!!!

Posted by Payam at October 19, 2006 07:44 AM

Up the IRONS!!!Sam,reading the comments everyday, I can see that some people like or dislike some of your subjects. It's funny that I have loved all your subjects and shots so far. From still life to film festival. They DO NOT bore me.DO NOT change a thing!!! LOL

Posted by Foad at October 19, 2006 10:03 AM

Now I have to find my maiden music on winamp!! Excellent shots, the lighting is perfect.. good work.

I love the transition between the first and the last photo -- how everyone puts their hands up in the rock symbol =)

Posted by Alana at October 21, 2006 03:07 PM

Hey, great pictures!!!

Do you have more pictures that you can share with us? Is there anyway we can find more pictures or videos from this concert? Any ideas?

Posted by Deniz at October 21, 2006 11:00 PM

I was there! Front row!!! Just looking at these pics gives me little shivery feelings remembering it...A++! In that first picture, I'm right in front of Steve! Steve shook his head and some of his sweat literally landed in my friend's mouth...and yes, I was jealous. God we were so close I could like see Bruce's filling in his teeth! If only I'd had the balls to bring MY camera in...[smacks head against wall] Anyway, major kudos on the kickass pics!

Posted by Jade at November 1, 2006 09:19 PM
