what's that small image of a person beside the door?

I love how the green contrasts so starkly from the stone-grey exterior of the building. The yellow cross walk leading up the crooked view gives the photograph quite a peculiar look.

Wow! That's one of my favourite! I love what those yellow lines bring to your photo, Sam. It really makes the picture lovely and attractive. Thanks again for that eye-candy. Good job.

it might be interesting to live for a while in a town composed entirely of such crooked spaces

If ever there was a shot that showed the importance of lead in lines....

Beatiful shot.
Very interesting the different tone of colour in the picture.

I follow you photoblog with RSS, and i think that is one of the better that i control daily.
Very Good Work.

Love the composition, it works well with this hill/road and the building.

Nice to see J.R. "Bob" Dobbs is alive and well in La Belle Provence...

Interesting old stone and glass door. I like the way the crosswalk leads into it. I'm also puzzled by the image of a pipe smoker on the side of the door; and on a smoky old bulding. Funny!

Nice historical record.

I love the steep incline to this road and the wonderful green trim on the window and door. The narrow window is especially charming in this scene.

It looks as if the yellow lines are marching purposefully toward the building, as if on their way to a meeting inside, perhaps a bit late :-)

Québec City might have qualified for an award for "Most Plumb Lines and Carpenter's Levels in a City" when it was being built (though it might be topped for that award by San Francisco).

This is great. Including the yellow path lines is like an invitation into the frame. Great, great tones - absolutely amazing. Nice work, Sam.
