Comments: waiting

That's Campo di Marte train station. Sam, I can't believe you were so close to where I work!

long journey ahead.

i was planning to take similar picture in library today. all i could see was books but from far away i saw little bit of man's foot. i got my camera out and when i was ready to press the button, he pulled his leg out of sight. better next time.

I love the fact the man's leg and the Binario sign are both in focus, that's great work. So much atmosphere in this shot..

Love the subtlety here - with just the hint of the person waiting for their train.

Love the composition and DOF.

unusual and very nice focus point.

I love these old countries. Everything is imperfect and old (in a good way) and it's beautiful.

Wow! Great depth of field!!

What saxy legs! Those crew socks just highlight the beauty of the naked, pale legs of the traveller.

wow sam just awsome..awsome awsome awsome!

nice

I find a fascination wiht the light and color and shape & then my mind kicks in with - what a mess. Industrial sites are like that.

But all is saved when I get a laugh with the leg and luggage waiting patiently for the train.

Cute catch, Sam.

train station is always a romantic place! with all wires, hard material and lights. waiting or leaving, it seems cloudy all the time.
very nice.

I like the mystery of who the man might be behind the partly exposed leg and baggage. Where's he going or returning from? Is he waiting on someone? I like the lines in the brick.

Marte = Mars

I was there this summer, loved Florence. Nice photo.

Great shot. Really like the DOF you chose. The leg and the luggage make a nice detail, which makes this shot more interesting, and not just a shot on a railway station.

wow.. i was there one month ago.. on vacations!! florence's great, I arrived to Campo di Marte station from Torino Porta Nuova with a sunset like that.. wow

Italy is over rated. I didn't like my trip there. People are generally nice, which I can say that about anywhere. But the country is no big deal, and the culture is also commercialized, otherwise no biggie. You pictures are great:)
