Comments: round station

Ok, I love the blog, but what is this? A money-sucking gas station is the last place I would see a photo... then again, I'm a recording engineer...
Still a wonderful photo though.

A unique shape for a gas station. Something like the space needle. It reminds me of gas station in Bombay, India that is inspired by the Sydne Opera House.

Ah, yes, flowers on the pump island. Not for the faint of heart grease monkey. Don't see in this in el norte.

Love the shapes and the soft tones...

567890 Well! I just find the number on this rather incongruous - a puzzle. And what exactly is it a station for? Is that a gas pump nozzle I see - it's dark so it's hard to make out.

Different places - different stuf & style. I'd be inclined to stop and find out what it is were I not to have found out beforehand.

Lovely images. Just curious -- do your post-processing techniques utilize Channel Mixer and Levels primarily? Would love to see more before and afters :)

Must be very quiet around there. Looks so deserted...

Wow-sers!!
Way, Way Cool.
Especially like the way the sky fades to black at the top.
I suppose in a hurricane it wouldn't keep you dry, but still... a very neat way to fill'er up.

Very nice photographs. I make it a point to visit your photoblog at least every few days to see your photos. Most noticeably your photographs are very clean and sharp. I love how the images jump out in detail. Are you sharpening your photos? How do you achieve such a sharp image?

You have raised our expectations way too much with all your super great photos. This one is just too cold and industrial with all the metal and concrete for my liking but it is a cool shape for a gas station regardless.

Whoa Sam, this one kick ass! Love the composition!

Wild shot. Gas in a compact style. I'd like to know what everything is there, however. Some things I can't tell!
