Comments: the maze

I think the thing that drew my eye first was the rather nice "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" graffeti in the background!

Wonderful

Great shot. I traced with my finger from the outside to get into the center, but couldn't do it. Strangely enough though, starting from the centre and getting out was easy ... (Think I'll borrow my grandson's sidewalk chalk *LOL*)

"you've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" -- now that's funny...

The world has definitely gone mad. Good fun catch, Sam.

You, you, you, you, you, .... forever.¿

Is there a way out of that maze?

Email me.

That's funny--I noticed the Monty Python graffiti.

Great site, great photography...but one small correction: the light bulb drawing is more probably considered a labyrinth rather than a maze. Though the two terms are used interchangably and considered synonyms for each other in some dictionaries, generally speaking, a maze is created of many branching pathways...some leading to deadends...primarily to challenge/confuse/test one's ability to problem solve. A labyrinth may be complex, but it is a single, circuitous pathway toward a "center"...meant for focusing one's mind on "the journey"...and has been used for centuries as a form of spiritual meditation..even though I believe its mythological roots are far less mystical.
I hope you don' tmind this lengthy post, I just thought it was very creative of someone to make a labyrinth in the shape of a light bulb (as in one going on above one's head, etc)...and that you might be interested in the distinctions.

A way out of the maze? Yes, try the third dimension -- jump!

Well, you didn't really get out of the market lately haven't you? good Quality Photography but a little poor on the content...

Would you let your kids play in the middle of the road??? Crazy.

I took a while for the light bulb to click on. I was looking for the maze in the posters. Then in the graffiti. Finally, I examined what I originally assumed was left-turn lane striping.

Sam, Its a labyrinth not a maze. The explanation by a previous commentator was exactly right. You really should correct it.
Your photography, as noted over and over, is stunningly beautiful. you have an incredible eye for detail and for capturing whats there for all to see in a way we really dont 'see'. Keep it coming!
