I heard you can find tim horton's on the road between anywhere and anywhere in canada. nice picture btw.
Posted by Andrew at July 26, 2006 01:26 AMThat is possibly one of the most beautifully textured skies I have ever seen in a photograph.
Posted by Josh at July 26, 2006 01:33 AMThis is so Canada! Freat capture...
Posted by ff at July 26, 2006 02:02 AMMay I request a version of this for desktop wallpaper? And, as I'm making requests, can you make a 1600 x 900 version for my Apple Cinema display?
Posted by Darren at July 26, 2006 02:22 AMOh happy days, I remember discovering Tim Hortons on holidays over there :)
Posted by Tony at July 26, 2006 03:12 AMWow! Beautiful shot! The red letters really dance against the sky. This would make for a FANTASTIC Tim Horton's ad.
Posted by tanner at July 26, 2006 03:24 AMGood angle. I like it
Posted by Thomas Solberg / Project neXus at July 26, 2006 03:28 AMfantastic sky and interesting composition!
Posted by Susie at July 26, 2006 03:35 AMNice angle and composition .
Posted by Chantal at July 26, 2006 05:36 AMgreat shot!
one little comment, if you only cropped off the bottom corenter of the left side of the building. otherwise its flawless
Interesting perspective of a Canadian icon. Nice work.
Posted by David W. at July 26, 2006 07:14 AMGreat sky on this one and I really like the way you put the building in the corner. Makes for a really interesting photo. Nice job.
Posted by Alice at July 26, 2006 08:39 AMSo excellent angle. Beautiful texture of clouds and nice composition the red color with blue color.
Posted by Pooriya at July 26, 2006 08:44 AMwhy are we looking at a commercial? sam, don't sell us out.
Posted by david at July 26, 2006 09:06 AMInteresting shot, love the clouds.
Posted by Craig at July 26, 2006 09:28 AMIf Tim Horton's just knew that this shot exists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by Lena at July 26, 2006 09:39 AMI love how the icy blue sky with the whispy clouds sets off the red in the sign on the building.
Posted by Laurie at July 26, 2006 09:51 AMVery Canadian, eh.
Posted by john at July 26, 2006 10:19 AMSuperb photo. I love where you've placed Tim Hortons.

Posted by Jason Nolan at July 26, 2006 11:08 AMSuper sky shot! My husband brought me a box of Tim Bits when he flew to Toronto on business. That's it. Just the little box. It was empty. :-)

There's always Tim on the Road.
Posted by DAVE at July 26, 2006 01:31 PMReally nice wispy clouds. :) The red is nice against the dark blue, too.
Posted by PlasticTV at July 26, 2006 01:57 PMWhy aren't people leaving comments. I'm away from home for the summer. But where are all the other DDoI fans??
Posted by Sara at July 26, 2006 02:11 PMNICE. I love the framing!
Posted by matt at July 26, 2006 02:42 PMThe ultimate Canadian road picture. Tim Horton's as a beacon on the way.
Posted by linz at July 26, 2006 02:52 PMoh boy, more clouds...and barely interesting ones at that. Putting a shameless brand name plug at an angle in the corner doesn't exactly help this shot. I know you can do better (i've seen it) so i'm wondering if the long drive was causing you to panic and shoot anything?
Posted by Crank at July 26, 2006 03:04 PMBeautiful play of contrast and colour!
Posted by Art at July 26, 2006 03:13 PMAwesome.
You're located in toronto right? I have a webdesign business located in Mississauga, I was wondering how much you charge for photos. I have clients that own cake shops and restaurants and I would like to get some photography done for their store and products.
Posted by Ian at July 26, 2006 03:28 PMI must have driven past this spot a dozen times on my way from Toronto to Montreal. Brilliant composition. You've got a great eye.
Posted by 24by36 at July 26, 2006 04:38 PMAh yes...a great Canadian icon!
Posted by Dave Mac at July 26, 2006 06:37 PMThe sky looks so... fresh; always something fresh... :)
Nice composition
Posted by WeeDram at July 26, 2006 08:54 PMnice picture! i think i know exactly where that is. is it near kingston on the south side of the 401 and there's a gas station right beside it?
Posted by Eloi at July 26, 2006 10:24 PMlove the saturated colours!!!
Posted by rebecca at July 26, 2006 11:24 PMdig the clouds but cant say I care for the tim horton's. a bit commercial.
Posted by ben at July 27, 2006 12:07 AMGotta love Timmie's! Love the clouds as well... Wonderful pic! Would love it in my livingroom lol
