Very nicely done!
Posted by Mz_Skade at July 24, 2006 04:44 AMA very strong image that would be dull without the addition of the bright flowers.
Posted by john at July 24, 2006 07:09 AMGreat capture with a lot of details. Reminds me of a prison
Posted by Thomas Solberg / Project neXus at July 24, 2006 07:10 AMNice perspective on this shot..
Posted by Craig at July 24, 2006 12:45 PMI am baffled what, beyond fancy look, the point of those expensive to install iron grates on all the windows.
Too much effort goes into fancy looks and no soundproofing in buildings - mostly new ones these days. Cheap for a high price. And the people wonder why society gets crazier by the day.
The Mike Harris Ontario government got rid of rent control by using the fact that 20% of renters move every year - but no one can give a definitive reason for it. My reason is too much noise through walls and floors and no one cares. I lived in 59 places by the time I was 68 - most were horrid. More than enough said, likely.
The housing industry is a rip off of peace & privacy.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at July 24, 2006 01:11 PMgreat colours, greyish blues and splashes of red really work! love the grand feeling to the building too
Posted by JD at July 24, 2006 02:06 PMIt has a very old world feel to it. Great shot!
Posted by Hika at July 24, 2006 05:32 PMNice red flowers but where's the blue sky?
Posted by George Dunbar at July 24, 2006 06:11 PMI love your photos. They're always beautifully composed with excellent contrast and color. You really present a beautiful Canada. (among other things)
The thing I wanted to say about this one is that I think it looks very cool because it looks to me like the left side is cropped at an angle. I'm pretty sure it's not, but I've spent the last 7 minutes looking at it and I'm still not completely sure.
Posted by Kyle at July 26, 2006 04:12 AMI think it is interesting how three windows in a row have the same flowers. Interesting that those three people live in a row.
