So spatial! Amazing!

Posted by Tara at July 22, 2006 09:45 AM

Wow! This is an amazing work of art! I think that is has very good contrast and really highlights the buildings features. It reminds me of an evil building in Star Wars or something of that nature!

i knew you would come back with kick ass photos even though you said it rained at NYC.

Posted by tee at July 22, 2006 10:23 AM

Sam, you really are "able to leap tall buildings in a single bound."

As one contemplates how to light a tall building at night, you must have had some pretty strong bounce flashes. :^)

This is a great shot. It has draws the viewers attention immediately. I like it a lot.

mmm, Batman.

Posted by roger rabbit at July 22, 2006 03:53 PM

Interesting shot. I like how the background is nonexistant and the building looks like it's just standing in a void.

Posted by Graham at July 22, 2006 03:58 PM

nice shot...keeps the eye very busy. Very eerie looking.

Beautiful and inspiring. And technically brilliant. Thanks for including the data. I look for when you increase the iso to get the shot handheld.

Sometimes I think about how it would feel to work in a tall building like this and having a seat near the window.

Hi! Great night shot! I really like the lighting!

Posted by tom at July 24, 2006 09:26 AM

I love the tone range in this image. I like the fact that the sky is just outright black and the full tone range is the building it self. Great shot!

Posted by Andrew at July 24, 2006 11:40 AM

dramatic.

Feels like Superman is going to come soaring from around the back. Looks like you took a picture of Metropolis. So ominous and dark. Love it.
