Comments: clouds over 18

Hurray for montreal! Nice shot, I love the colors in you photos, I wish I could have such color in my photos. Great work.

Once again amazing clouds and colours.

Haha! First I thought the title had something to do with, erm, "naughty" clouds... (I was using an RSS reader). But now I see the relevance. Nice and clean shot, though I wish the truck were perfectly level (there's my OCD again...)!

Cool picture (as all others by the way). I like this white rectangle, I'll be able to add my text on it if and when I'll use this pict for internal presentations. Something like: "Still a long way to go...", "We'll transport your ideas all over the globe", or "Search seller wheeler with long experience" :-)
Have a nice one guys.

As soon as this image loaded up it was like "look at all the smoke, the semi is on fire!" :D

Cool photo!!!

love those clouds above the truck - eye catching image!

Now Id like to see a shot like this as a PANNING shot..... 18 wheeler hitting downtown Toronto with all the lights of the city !!

Nice colour (green and blue) combination

Soemthing in that image is "pleasing". But I can't quite verbalize what.

Btw - ages ago I asked for information about your map and you kind enough to send it to me. And I never said "Thanks".
Thanks.

Nice simple image. I like the way you process the clouds and sky and how the truck colours match them.

Posted by Steve W at July 7, 2006 06:20 AM

The colors! I love them. How do you do to make the colours look like that? I'd love to know.

Posted by Christian at July 7, 2006 06:46 AM

Nice proportion!

Posted by Harlequinpan at July 7, 2006 07:55 AM

Beautiful! What a clear blue sky. I love it!

Posted by ~tanty~ at July 7, 2006 09:32 AM

Not too exciting - like you needed an excuse to photograph the sky. The blue of the truck does match it all - which goes with your magic at finding stuff that works.

As dull as it seems in one view it still grabs the eye. Couldn't be better if he was there only to be photographed.

Great clouds, great loneliness, great shot! Could you upload this one in wallpaper resolution, please?

Posted by seb at July 7, 2006 10:44 AM

the colours are amazing.

Posted by christine at July 7, 2006 10:54 AM

Nice. Colours and composition are just perfect.
Reminds me of my trips to Montreal and NYC, and all these big trucks parked in service centers.

Been visiting your site for some time now; I came across it when I was looking for moonscapes on google.
I have to say, currently I live overseas, but I was born and raised in Saskatchewan. Pictures like this one make me realize just how much I miss the skies in Canada.
Gorgeous as always. The fact that the truck is also blue and white really pulls the photo together in a way.

Posted by Riva at July 7, 2006 11:15 AM

Just excellent...would want to travel with that car on that way

Posted by Kreek at July 7, 2006 01:50 PM

Gotta love trucks. Also a great contrast from your previous recent photos. This truck looks like it's sitting still.

Is the 18-wheeler moving or stopped? Is there a driver behind the wheel or not? What's that black box at the side of the road and what does it contain? Why is there a street light or something in front of the cab presumably out in the middle of nowhere? Is the rig headed for T.O. or Montreal? I thought distant fields are always greener- how come the grass in the foreground is greener? Is this photo contrived or what? At least the clouds look kinda real. You got me wondering,Sam.

Clouds an amazing colors! It's beautiful. Who knew an 18 wheeler could be so pretty?

I don't know anything about trucks but it looks like a 10 wheeler to me - does it have the same name regardless of number of wheels? Or are double wheels counted seperately?
