You are awesome... There is no other way to describe your photography. I think I like this one more than your last shot from this building (June 15) and that's saying something... Keep up the good work

Posted by Brandt at June 21, 2006 02:25 AM

Nice to see your wonderful photos, especially since I spent a year (95) at UofT. Keep on taking such excellent shot!

Posted by Bodenseepeter at June 21, 2006 02:59 AM

Shot the same day as the post a few days ago? Its pitch dark here by 6PM this time of the year. I am jealous of the long twilight.

Posted by R\ at June 21, 2006 03:11 AM

Excellent! Reminds me alot your day-night-day videos that you have in Daily Dose of Imagery. :-)

Posted by nuno f at June 21, 2006 03:15 AM

Simply a beautiful shot. Sometimes - at ground level - it's easy to forget how beautiful our city is. Thanks for the reminder.

What a beautiful shot! It actually makes the bus terminal look nice. I commute to and from that terminal everyday, and would love this shot offered as a wallpaper. Keep up the great work!

Lucas

Posted by Lucas at June 21, 2006 11:19 AM

Now this is probably my favorite shot from a highrise you have ever done! And one of your best night shots too! Absolutely wonderful in every way. You already knew that though didn't you?

Posted by Nate at June 21, 2006 11:30 AM

Man, your wide shots of Toronto lately are just, just *gorgeous*. I am amazed.

Posted by A thinker at June 21, 2006 12:10 PM

i miss those types of clouds...i now live in california, and never see that type anymore. great pic.

Posted by devika at June 21, 2006 12:14 PM

Amazing. Would like a wallpaper sized version as well.

Posted by Unkkknown at June 21, 2006 12:51 PM

I always enjoy your cityscapes and clouds. Real beauty and drama!
I was looking for a shot you have taken of the front of the city hall, cause I knew somebody would ask "what is it". But your archive is rather large.
For the curious ones -- this is the back, and the front of the curved towers face onto a square that holds possibly 50,000 for festivities, and it is all glass and light.

Posted by Henry at June 21, 2006 12:54 PM

wow this is like the same place as the other one BUT this one is like over to the left...i think this one is a beettter piece of art....i like it how it shows the contrast of light in the sky....

Posted by doode at June 21, 2006 01:18 PM

what a cool place, what an advert for you're city.

Another great shot

Something im wondering though (as i begin to experiment in night shots myself), if you zoom up to the individual items... do they start to blur very fast? mine do... perhaps its my low grade camera..

Posted by Hitesh Sawlani (hitkaiser) at June 21, 2006 06:39 PM

WOW. All I can say is I love it.

One of the best cityscape-at-dusk shots I have seen.

Posted by seriocomic at June 22, 2006 08:41 AM

This is a really nice choice for that wide-angle lens. I enjoy this view over Toronto - nice work.

Posted by Abe at June 22, 2006 01:12 PM

Great snap!

You should try taking some pictures from Panorama in the Manulife Centre. That is a great vantage point.

Posted by Glen at June 22, 2006 02:02 PM

this is awesome. Perfect time of the day for a great contrast between the setting sun and the lights of the city.

Posted by Richard at June 22, 2006 02:11 PM

Would you be so kind as to make 1280x800 wallpaper from it?

Posted by yepps at June 23, 2006 03:09 AM
