This looks more like a pomegranate. You could definitely fool people with the other one.

Welcome to spider house.

I'm liking this one more.

I agree with Harlenquinpan; when I first saw it, it looked like spiders crawling out of a hole. Great site - I've enjoyed it for a long time.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW :S
it looks like ants or whatever ugly insects they look like crawling in a projected crater on a red planet! It's quite disgusting & I just had lunch :S
Post sth less sickening next time please?

Looks weird...I can't help thinking Sci Fi?! Don't know why. But I agree, there are some great details in this image!

This is another beautiful macro, Sam. For me, this composition works better than the other one.

this picture makes me itchy.

I think I just browsed through the entire archive of this site; I really love your photography.

This one is kind of creepy. It looks like an cut-up, burnt ear filled with hair and charred blood vessels!

Greetings from Los Angeles, CA.

Hmmm There is something gruesome about this shot...but interesting, nonetheless.

this one really was scary - very neat. i love how the macro shots turn out, it's facinating.

Looks kind of scary... I'm not familiar with pomegranets except for one time when I was given some. To me this looks like flesh with spiders... ew!
