You always impress me, especially with these types of pictures... You are a truly gifted person Sam... Don't let that go...

Posted by Brandt at June 10, 2006 02:30 AM

Sam,
I just got an EFS 10-22mm lens. I was inspired by the great shots you get with it. I can't wait to try it out!

Posted by Larry at June 10, 2006 02:32 AM

Amazing shot! I prefer this one over yesterdays because the car is so sharp in this one. Nice panning shot!

Posted by Andrew at June 10, 2006 02:34 AM

Awesome. Great timing, great tracking, great looking car.

Posted by Heath at June 10, 2006 03:50 AM

I can't say any thing. Just it's Excellent.

Posted by Pooriya at June 10, 2006 05:14 AM

Excellent shot. The car is so sharp. Great panning technique.

Posted by Pete Carr at June 10, 2006 05:31 AM

This is my favorite of all your panning car shots in this site! It's amazing how sharp the car is. Great job.

Posted by vg at June 10, 2006 06:41 AM

Nice shot. I like the blurred colors: did you obtained this effect by PP or by real panning?

Posted by marco's light opinion at June 10, 2006 07:14 AM

Look out !

Posted by Harlequinpan at June 10, 2006 07:26 AM

Amazing shot... you are the man!!!

Posted by Chrissy :) at June 10, 2006 08:05 AM

Your panning is seriously amazing! Great shots.

Posted by kristarella at June 10, 2006 08:17 AM

I really love how all of your car shots turn out. This one looks amazing...what a beautiful car.

Posted by Andrea at June 10, 2006 08:35 AM

This is the best one so far, by far. The framing and everything is great.

Posted by A.R. at June 10, 2006 09:29 AM

Another cool car shot. Really nice.

Posted by Laurie at June 10, 2006 09:40 AM

its a great film.

Posted by stefanie at June 10, 2006 09:42 AM

This panning shot appears nearly impossible to capture -- framed between the pedestrian and the bumper of another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction of the Corvette!

You have an eye and talent for isolating and amplifying interesting subjects in a crowd.

Posted by Kevin at June 10, 2006 10:07 AM

Nice shot. I like the way you've caught the shadowed back of a man standing in the foreground watching the car zoom by.

Posted by talk talk talk at June 10, 2006 10:48 AM

Nice panning shot and great colour saturation

Posted by Paul Woolrich at June 10, 2006 11:06 AM

I really like how you captured this...very nice. I'd be interested in you post processing...I'm trying to learn PSCS2 as much as possible.

Corner-to-Corner sharpness!! WOW, very well done Sam.

btw, Go IRAN GO! hope to see you celebrating should we win or tie the Mexico game.

Why is it I always find a fourty- or fify-something, bald-headed guy in the "hot car" driving at a high rate of speed? I think this is his mid-life crisis car. :-) Fabulous motion shot, by the way!!!

Posted by Pixels.In.My.Head at June 10, 2006 12:05 PM

Good one ;)

Posted by Jeet at June 10, 2006 12:18 PM

Awesome.

Posted by Mo at June 10, 2006 12:39 PM

Wow, great set. This one's simply poyfek in timing, right before the person's head covers the car. Sweet. Yep, thos folks at Pixar sure can put on a great film. Look forwad to seeing it myself. Cheers.

I remember you took another yellow Corvette picture infront of a buthcher at night 3-4 months ago, that was nice too.

Posted by Liz Cuda at June 10, 2006 01:04 PM

Nice ride! And nice shot!

Posted by Dave at June 10, 2006 01:32 PM

Amazing, I hope you take pictures of cars more often.

Posted by Dylan at June 10, 2006 01:33 PM

great photo, i'm sure the owner of the corvette would love this

Posted by brian at June 10, 2006 01:57 PM

Do you have a higher resolution version? I'd like to use it as a desktop!

Posted by Scott at June 10, 2006 02:16 PM

Amazing. I try and try and constantly fail at panning. Good job!

Posted by Raffi at June 10, 2006 02:16 PM

it's a difficult shot. the car is crystal clear. well done!

but i'm really getting bored by the cars... soz :-/

Posted by moorooduc at June 10, 2006 02:43 PM

"Pixels", put the question; "Why is it I always find a fourty- or fify-something, bald-headed guy in the "hot car"..." and my response is, because they are the ones with the money most often. Takes a while to earn the credit for big ticket hot items - haven't you noticed.

BTW, while I'm here, you really have the panning down perfect and manage to avoid getting the shadow of the person on the left in front of the lens and blocking the car, instead of beside as it is. And another buzzy car, too. You are quick to respond when you see something from the looks of it. Quick draw Sam. If you were a gunfighter you'd leave a lot of dead men behind you. Uh? That's a compliment.

Posted by Hugh Petrie at June 10, 2006 03:05 PM

How the hell did you do that???

Posted by Koon Hui at June 10, 2006 11:35 PM

yeah, really cool shot, you must be very lucky and also skillfull to take this photo. The background looks great too, blur and dynamic, it gives a strong 3D feel.I love it!

Posted by bravelee at June 13, 2006 06:05 PM

Can you post a higher resolution version for use as a desktop wallpaper?

Posted by soccerlax at June 14, 2006 01:10 PM

Awesome pic, is that an H&M behind the car??

Posted by Adam at June 17, 2006 01:31 PM

Great pan - you did such a good job of not distorting the car even in the slightest.

Posted by Abe at June 22, 2006 01:34 PM

cool :)

Posted by Serena at June 30, 2006 01:16 AM

I don't see how this could be acheived with panning. Am I nuts or did you copy this picture, paste it onto itself, use a horizontal blur on the top layer, and delete the car revealing the lower 'in focus' image.

How could you PAN and keep this car so crisp? It seems impossible.

nice and best
