Comments: biking along ocad

how come you always ride behind your wife?

Posted by tee at June 3, 2006 02:50 AM

Wow! I absolutely love this shot! It makes me feel like I'm moving along with the biker in front. I even get a bit dizzy looking at it too long! Did you shoot this using the program mode considering you were riding your bike and shooting at the same time too! However you did it, it's a brilliant shot!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Talayeh!! you are beautiful! you have deep dark eyes like my son.
I love this shot- it almost looks as if she is traveling through a time warp...w older buildings on one side and more modern ones on the left

Wonderful Sam, you did it again. This is a surrealistic scene. I know that area of course but my pictures of it would never do what this does.. great!

Happy birthday to Talayeh.

Warp speed captain.

Very nice capture. I feel like I'm getting pulled into the picture.

Posted by Dave at June 3, 2006 12:58 PM

Excellent shot. I thought you were stood behind her and used a zoom lens to create the blur. Thats some balance you've got there :)

your wife is beautiful! happy birthday to talayeh, and an unbelievable picture to go with it once again. it makes me feel so carefree.

Posted by stephanie at June 3, 2006 03:16 PM

Hey bud, I see my girlfriend's street is really popular. It must be OCAD. =)

Posted by Jonathan Greenwald at June 3, 2006 03:30 PM

I think I'd say that taking pictures while riding, especially if you're trying to use the view finder rather than shooting from the hip - so to speak - would come under: Likely more dangerous than using a cellphone while driving ( a car or bike ). On a bike the streetcar tracks look inviting for a toss on your head if you drop into one.

You're crazy, Sam. Keep it up. Interesting how empty the street is. If you fell a driver would have to go out of their way to hit you.

And Happy birthday Talayeh! But you need to get a rear view mirror and keep watch on that dare devil husband of yours. Joy to your life.

Posted by mike at June 4, 2006 12:00 PM

Very nice! It almost has a moving quality to it. Like it's being sucked away or something.

Posted by Addison at June 4, 2006 11:00 PM

You should have a gallery exhibit called "Motion Pictures" with a caption something like "Sam Standing Still." Include shots like this and your panning. It would be great.

Posted by Kevin at June 5, 2006 11:54 AM
